SC Chairman  Jasvir Singh Garhi is acting as political agent for AAP : Vikas Sangar 

Jalandhar 27 May 2024 (Sonu) : In a press statement issued today, Vikas Sangar a member of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee and President of the Dalit Ekta Manch In his a press statement issued stated that Jasvir Singh Garhi has once again proven today that he is not functioning as the Chairman of the SC Commission, but rather as a political agent for AAP.

For the past seven years, a fake audio clip has been circulating on social media—an audio regarding which even a child could tell that it does not feature Raja Warring's voice—yet it is being utilized for political ends without any forensic examination, technical verification, or official report.

An individual holding a constitutional office is expected to remain impartial; however, through his actions, Jasvir Singh Garhi has demonstrated that he is operating under pressure from AAP.

If notices are issued based on viral audio clips accepted as truth without any prior investigation, what will become of the credibility of our constitutional institutions?

Today, the SC community of Punjab itself feels that the dignity of the Commission's chair is being compromised. Given the manner in which Jasvir Singh Garhi has misused his official position, he should be removed from this post immediately. A particularly noteworthy aspect of this situation is that, while issuing a notice on one hand, Jasvir Singh Garhi simultaneously broadcast this audio clip live—an audio clip regarding which he possesses no factual knowledge. He could simply have issued a standard notice; however, his true objective was to tarnish the image of Raja Warring. Jasvir Singh Garhi, precisely because of such actions, has caused questions to begin arising today regarding the transparency of governance in Punjab.

Raja Warring cannot be intimidated by false propaganda. We have stood by the truth in the past, we stand by it today, and we will continue to stand by it in the future.

Punjab is watching everything, and the people will undoubtedly deliver a fitting response to this dirty brand of politics. I would like to convey to Mr. Jasvir Singh Garhi that the Dalit community of Punjab—which is regarded as a symbol of mutual brotherhood and cannot be swayed by any manipulation—knows how to discern the truth. The Dalit class of Punjab will not allow any such agenda of yours to succeed.
