Hi, I’m Khushi thakur, a communication design student and an artist. For my very first post in this series, I wanted to share something extremely close to my heart — a watercolor painting of my dogs.
It took me nearly a week to finish this piece, and honestly, I lost count of the number of strokes I made to capture their fur. Every brushstroke was layered with patience, love, and the desire to make it look as realistic as possible.
When I look at this artwork, I see more than just fur details and watercolor textures — I see emotions. The calmness in their eyes, the silent connection, and the story of loyalty and affection that animals bring into our lives.
This series is my way of sharing not just my paintings, but the thoughts and emotions that flow into each one of them.
