 Terming it as a 'historic' day in annals of Indian polity when real faces of many national leaders have been brutally exposed, the Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar on Sunday said that the top Congress leadership sharing stage with Bhagwant Mann in suport of arrested Kejriwal is a damning acceptance of insults to its Punjab leaders and worker who have endured vendetta at the hands of vindictive AAP government. Maybe their leaders don't think, or nobody guides them or they don't really care, Jakhar said adding that it's not a surprise that Congress leadership did not even think twice before attending AAP really at Ramlila Maidaan in favour of Kejriwal now behind bars with his corruption out in open before the nation. 

I feel pity for Punjab Congress leaders like Sukhpal Khaira who had to endure jail term at behest of vendetta from Punjab Chief Minister with whom Rahul Gandhi and Kharge ji are sharing stage today and are seen smiling and laughing, Jakhar said adding that by attending the protest today Congress national leadership has accepted Bhagwant Mann's allegations of corruption against and mistreatment of its leaders in Punjab including that of its present state president, the CLP leader, a former CM, and several of its former Cabinet Ministers.

Which Congress leader worth his name has not been personally targeted, threatened, humiliated and demeaned by Bhagwant Mann and disrespected publicly including at the floor of the House, Jakhar asked underlining that the Congress leadership has today accepted that their own leaders are corrupt as claimed by Bhagwant Mann while only Arvind Kejriwal is clean and clear. Jakhar was speaking here after ushering in a number of Punjab leaders into the BJP fold here at the BJP Office in the national capital. On the occasion, Jakhar was accompanied by Delhi BJP president Virender Sachdeva, BJP National Secretary Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Jalandhar MP Sushil Rinku, MLA Sheetal Angural, Dist president Sushil Sharma and General Secretary Ashok Sareen Hicky. 

Welcoming them into BJP, Jakhar termed them as building blocks for any political organisation as they are the ones who steer party's win at the ground level. Jakhar expressed hope that with their joining, Punjab BJP would be further strengthened in its aim to win all 13 seats under PM Narendra Modi's leadership of all-round development and growth. 

Later responding to a question from the media, Jakhar said ED should have acted against Kejriwal only after he had skipped the first summons and the opposition charge of wrong timing of his arrest also would not arise. 

Opposition leaders are not questioning the arrest as they know Kejriwal has masterminded corruption through Excise Policy, all they are questioning is the timing of arrest which has only been effected by ED after the SC also refused any relief to no behind bars Delhi CM, Jakhar added.
