Now most of the people know about the good therapeutic effects of Pranayam on our 7 layers of invisible and visible body.
SHEETKARI PRANAYAM IS VERY GOOD TO PERFORM IN SUMMERS AND SUMMER RAINY SEASON.
It cools the mind and relax the body. it balances Pit vikar and is very good in rainy season to save us from Pita excess type skin disorders.It cools the mind so helps in lowering aggressive emotions and actions. It balances Blood pressure,dryness and Excessive hunger and thirst also.
 For it's cooling properties it is known as Sheetali pranayam. It resembles with another pranayam known as Sitkari Pranayam.
Sit in a relaxed pose,back straight You can sit full or half Padmasan or on chair also.Keep your both the hands ,like one hand on your each knee.Palms facing the sky.
Now,Get your tongue out from your mouth.and twist both sides of the tongue .It will look like half open pipe, make Jalandhar Bandh.
Now suck air through your both side folded tongue.You will feel a cold air going upto your throat .Do Rechak / Exhale and then open the Jalandhar Bandh simultaneously.
This is full one step.Repeat 3to 5 steps like this.
Precautions Do it empty stomach and do not perform it in winters .Om.
