Dr. Shama Mohamed is a politician and a dentist.
 She is a national media panelist and spokesperson of All India Congress Committee.
- She was born in New Mahe in Kerala and moved to Kuwait at the age of two.
- She completed her primary education from the Indian School in Kuwait and obtained her bachelor's degree in dental surgery from Mangalore University.
- She is married and has two children.
- She is passionate about education, women's rights, primary healthcare, population control, infrastructure and the plight of manual scavengers in India.
- She is a managing director of shawls, stoles, and wraps based clothing retailer named Shamaz.
- She is also a dental surgeon at a charitable organization known as the Deep Griha Society.
